Sarah, a domestic violence survivor was successful in fleeing her abusive husband but was left vulnerable after he found the location of her transitional housing. Due to the immediate high-risk safety concerns, her safety plan was adapted with an urgent need for Sarah and her children to relocate out-of-state. Sarah successfully moved to be with her family and to have a network of support. The Operation For HOPE Foundation, HOPE Fund provided emergency financial assistance for fuel and miscellaneous expenses to safely relocate and The Allstate Foundation Moving Ahead through Financial Management curriculum was provided as Sarah rebuilds her financial independence.
